Timber Framed Sawhorses

During this two and one-half day course, you'll learn the layout and cutting of the mortise and tenon joints needed to create a timbered sawhorse. This class will introduce the basic techniques used in traditional timber framing and provide the basis for most timber frame projects going forward.

Students will create a pair of sawhorses, to bring home, made of 6”x 6" timbers that are 3 or 4 feet wide working with professional-grade timber framing tools, as well as learn to use a variety of traditional hand tools.
